Merry Christmas Everyone!
A big, belated hello from Butterscotch! I can't believe it's been over two years since I last uploaded a story to DA. Has it really been that long since the final chapter of Much Ahoof About Nothing? It feels like all that happened just yesterday...
What have I been up to since then? Well, it's a bit embarrassing, actually... but I got married and had a kid. She's two years old as of a couple of months ago. How did this all happen? well, I was impregnated and nature took its course, I guess you could say. Since then, my life has been all about nappies and applying for government rebates, with very little time indeed for pon

...I've not been on DA for a few months. Actually, I've not been online at all. I've been taking a break from my internet existence, although I didn't really make a conscious decision to do so. Things just seemed to work out that way. Maybe finishing Much Ahoof took it out of me? :shrug:
All I can do is beg your patience as I work out what I want to do. I think I need to work on my own projects for a while. The ponies are still dear to my heart - of course! - and I think that when Season 3 comes along I'll be gripped by new inspiration, but please don't be surprised if I suddenly start churning out stories again next week. It keeps beeping to me - I think it wants me to recharge it.
I think that a phone should rather beep you when it's happy: "Thanks for keeping me charged, Butterscotch! You're doing an awesome job! XD XD" - rather like one of those living phones from eXistenZ that need to be stroked and flicked before they'll work for you.
