Is this the helm of the Enterprise? No, just the buttons you should press if you want to get clean before touching a single bit of toilet-paper. The pictures rather handily tell you what each feature is for.
Of course, it's the button that controls the robo-bidet that you use to wash yourself after #2 so you don't need to mess with toilet paper. What did you think it was for?
Incidentally, according to Wikipedia, bidet is also the French word for pony, given how a standard bidet is "ridden" when used. As a brony, the connotations...boggle the mind, to say the least.
I thought... it was for something a little more... "forward"... "upfront"... if you know what I mean.
"bidet" means "pony"... btw, and this is a n00b question I'm sure, but how did you italicize your text? Is it that thing with slashes and less than/greater arrows?
With a standard bidet, you can actually do that. I'm sure some of the fancier integrated toilet/bidets can accomplish that as well. Some can blow-dry as well!
When I was living in Europe and before I knew what these things were used for, I'd just use the ones in my hotel room to wash my feet. I wouldn't recommend that now unless they give it a sparkling clean before you move in.
As for italicized text, you use < i > then < /i > (without spaces). Same thing with bold and underlined text.

"Damn those japs are into some weird stuff, aren't they?"
But seriously, this is cool...
